Already since their earliest youth the two guys from Bochum felt committed to electronic dance music.
Patric already began in the tender age of eleven years turning the vinyl, followed by the first Resident-job with 15, and when the announced Bochum man 18 Karat opened his gates for the dance-thrilled party crowd in 2002, Patric was also here a firm institution and a guarantor for pumping party nights.
At the end of 2003 the now 23 year old producer Patric met the at that time yet practiced Timo Becker, who already mixed up the club charts with a few productions. Quickly the both recognized, that they didn’t fit only perfectly in music aspect, but are also humanly on a wave-length. In very short time the two adjusted their own sound studio: Hobbyroom Studios – the place, where the two friends of easy-going night life spent most of their time, if they’re not just standing behind a CDJs of one of the local club scenery and push the regulator until the limit! And the place, where the previous productions and remixes for e.g. Axwell, Hi-Tack, Da Hool, Christopher Just, The Disco Boys, and many more of the two workaholics arose.However, mainly they show in which wide spectrum of the engineered music Patric & Timo feel at home. Best premises, that with „Pumpin“, their first common release and the often sold follow-up „Du riechst so gut“ on Superstar Recordings, they will also rock the dance floors of the house- and electro world successfully.
